STEP 1
See your family doctor for a referral to a thoracic surgeon for an assessment, diagnosis, and prescription.
Do you have a diagnosis for pectus carinatum or excavatum?
Discuss treatment alternatives for your particular condition and ask your physician whether the Braceworks Pectus Brace makes sense for you.
Your doctor can order a Fit Kit
and prescribe the brace for you.

We can help
Most cases are straightforward to assess and treat. In our experience, 70-75% of patients present symmetrically, with a 'bump' on the sternum. Our clinic has successfully treated girls and boys between the ages of 4-22. Typically, we see many 14 year boys and treat a number of less common variations of pectus, as well as complications due to scoliosis and pectus excavatum.

Every situation is unique. Call us directly to talk about your options, 403-240-9100. Proceed with step one after you have assessed The Calgary Protocol and the Braceworks Pectus Brace.
STEP 2
Get a Fit Kit
Download a Fit Kit order form. Doctors are invited to contact us with questions. Fit Kit fees are applied to brace purchase.
STEP 3
Return the measurements with the Pectus Brace order form
The chest wall measurements are a key element of the prescription. Your doctor receives a custom fitted Braceworks Pectus Brace and you can start the correction phase right away.
